Week 4

Week three completed!!

Week four is HARD, too - intervals of 3 and 5 minute runs, intermixed with pretty serious weight training, and my vague attempts to get back into attendance at the pilates studio where I still have 1.5 YEARS OF MEMBERSHIP PREPAID. I am pathetic.

And this is the really tough spot for me in any workout regimen - 4 weeks. My body hasn't started to reflect any impact I've made, even though I've been suffering, and dieting (occasionally), and I want it to start.showing.up. And it will - next week, or the week after. I just have to stick to this long enough to see something concrete, because judging by how hard I've been working, results will be fair-to-middlin' faboo.

Just please show up already. Please.

Update # 2

Went snowboarding last Sunday. Nearly killed myself. Also felt a cold coming on - and when we got up to hit the slopes for a second day, I couldn't even get up. No second day.

Spent the following 2 days in bed, sick as a dog, and sore as hell. Someone, the lift managed to hit me in the back of the thigh as I got off, resulting in a massive black and blue bruise stretching down half of my leg.

I recovered enough to do second week runs Thursday, and Sunday.

This week - did a Monday run indoors, then today's run outside. As many of my runs as possible will be outside from now now. But I'm sore as hell again, from weight lifting and such, so tomorrow is a rest day. One more day of running left to complete week three! Yesss.
